1315 (Senator Andrew Lang) Latino Communities United in Service (CLUES) career education and job skills training grants appropriation
Please go to the link above to watch the pre-recorded video of the 1315 (Senator Andrew Lang) Latino Communities United in Service (CLUES) career education and job skills training grants appropriation. The testimony of John Pacheco and Ruby Lee from CLUES in front of the “Committee on Jobs and Economic Growth Finance and Policy”. This was a hearing for John and Ruby from CLUES to ask the Committee on Jobs and Economic Growth Finance and Policy tax payer’s money (to be exact $1.5 million dollars) in part for a 4-week construction training program that CLUES calls “bridge to your future”. I encourage anyone from the Hispanic construction community to ask John and Ruby if either of them have ever worked for: The MN Department of Labor & Industry, MN-OSHA, MN-DOT, or the largest construction company in MN. “Zapatero a sus Zapatos”. Or ask them what they know about construction in general.
